How long has it been since I last posted here?

I was unbelievably busy for the last few months. I barely had time for anything else besides school, school and school. I barely have time for Tris. I wasn't even able to contribute a single article to the magazine. I feel so tired and unaccomplished. T____T

We might be going to Bali soon. At least I have something great to look forward to!

I need to escape reality for a bit, so here I am.

I just got back from Hong Kong and I feel a little tired and disoriented. I didn't want to go back to school yet. This morning I hoped for a typhoon. So we have very blue skies now. God never answers the prayers of the selfish.

In Hong Kong, we saw lots of BJD shops. I finally saw what BJDs look like in person. They look like ... dolls. Gorgeous dolls but ... dolls. Honestly, I don't think they're worth their price. Unless they go beyond being just dolls and become something great like Mistula. I now understand Joey's sentiment about "sending the dolls to work". "If you don't make them work," she wrote on her email, "what makes them different from Barbies?"

I don't think I'll ever buy a BJD. But I'll forever be a fan of those who've gone beyond their BJD-ness.

CUTE PAJAMAS! CUTER DOLLS! X3
LOOK, LOOK!

Sleeping of BJD dreams, I dreamed about the Fully Articulated crew last night. I was in class waiting for our new English teacher. When he came in, it was *GASP!* Lugosi! And he was wearing that sexy number with ruffles and hot pants – YES, IN OPUS DEI TERRITORY. Everybody was shocked. Then the guy seated in front of me turned and said in a snarly voice, "Who hired this freak?" Guess who the guy was? LOBO!

The strange thing is, I didn't realize it was them until I woke up. If I did, I would've looked for Uno. Or conjured him up if he wasn't there. (T__T) I guess I'm not much of a lucid dreamer.

Photo borrowed with permission from Joey and Fully Articulated.
Uno is an original character from Mistula.

1. He is impossibly beautiful but doesn't strut around saying "I'm teh god of awesome worship me!"

2. He is the only one of his kind with a voice – and a good one at that.

3. He makes pajamas haute couture.

4. He can play a mean bass but doesn't act all "Fuck y'all, I'm a rockstar!"

5. His hair is never out of place.

6. He writes eloquently.

7. He is the only guy I know who isn't crazy about big boobs.

8. He prefers origami over "cool violent things" such as guns.

9. He once folded a thousand paper cranes for world peace.

10. He would risk being uncool to make other people happy.

Now don't you wish he wasn't two feet tall and made of resin?

I'm sick and home alone. Thank you, Mister Virus. Now I can do the things I love to do.

SO DAMN TIRED.

I went out with my boyfriend a while back and watched Superman. The new Superman, Brandon Routh, is a superhunk. He's now in my crush list which to this date is still topped by Uno.

I look forward to a Sunday of doing absolutely nothing. College is tiring. More than the classes, it's the people who complicate my life. Why can't the world be populated only by the people I like?

A week without Internet, no thanks to PLDT DSL, YOU SUCK. XP

I finally got back online today with 50 unread emails and three Tsukasas on my favorite website. MY GOD. Three Tsukasas, a Shiro, a Jun, a Liz and an ultra-limited Lishe. Sometimes I wish I were Joey.

I'm being considered for editorship for a teen magazine. It's a nice spot to fill but I'm not sure if I can take on the role with my school load. Then again, if I become editor, I have the power to interview my favorite celebrities, including Mistula! BWAHAHAHA! I'll seriously think about it.

I finally got my own copy of Anansi Boys because my sister won't let me touch her signed hardcover. It's a lovely read. I highly recommend it, Neil Gaiman fan or not.

Manx Minuet has always been too ditzy for my taste but sometimes she has her own merits. She finally got me at Nuestra Señora Dolorosa. That song is hauntingly beautiful. It plays in your head even after your iPod is long turned off.

She also won Lugosi.

My sister said I should do a dissertation about Mistula when they become true global deities. She said I'd do better job than I would with my regular subjects. What can I do? Mistula is complex and its characters too involving. If there are Sandman geeks, then I'd be a Mistula geek.

My sister is a Sandman geek, by the way. I think she kissed Neil Gaiman's feet when he was here. We're a family of lunatics.

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY.

School was overwhelming. Being a freshman is overwhelming. It was exciting and scary at the same time. I now have some new friends, but no crushes as of yet. My crazy heart still belongs to one who is too pretty to be real. *sigh*

I printed out one of his photos and made it the cover of my organizer. One of my classmates saw it and said, "Is that Uno of Mistula?" She is now one of my new barkada. She likes Lugosi better, though. I'm just so happy to have someone to share my insanity with. XD

I will now spend the weekend catching up with the things I missed online. I think you know where I will start. : P

I'm insomniac. The heat is making my insomnia even worse. Thank god for little comforts like THIS.

Bella Lugosi. He leaves me breathless. That the dorky Tsukasa Konoe was transformed into this god of cool, it's amazing.
